Come to this special scripted staged reading by local actors and meet the playwrite, Phil Olson. PLCT has peformed Phil's shows over the past few summers. A Don't Hug Me County Fair, most recently, last summer. Don't Hug Me was the first of a series with Crappie Talk in between the two.
Phil is known for his down home humor and his love for Minnesota comes through in humor. Maple Valley can exsist anywhere, but not a live reading of Phil's newest play.

The story of the Synchronistics, an over the hill ABBA wannabe group, who reuinte after 20 years. The year was 1979 and the Synchronistics were big. They were the first group to appear on American Bandstand and Soul Train in the same week. Then something terrible happened that drove the group apart for 20 years. And now they are back to gether in Maple Valley, their home town, to perform in a telethon for the public access television station. Will they overcome their differences? Act professionally? Probably not.
