In 2007 The Platte Valley Boys became the first bluegrass band to inducted into the Minnesota Rock & Country Hall of Fame, The Platte Valley Boys were formed in 1975 and have always maintained a reputation for a "Hard-Driving, Traditional Style of Bluegrass with Tight Vocal Harmonies," which some like to call “Bluegrass Soul.”
